Our Spring/Summer season is where we include AAU experiences through Tournament play.  IBA's AAU teams are the Top few Teams for boys in each grade level at IBA starting in 3rd Grade.  In the Spring/Summer these teams will compete outside of regular league games in Competitive Tournaments, local, regional and national depending on the competition level of the team.  Our AAU teams are comprised of players from all around the city and school systems to offer a unique team experience.  In contrast to our league only teams, our first focus is competition.  Teams are made by tryouts or invites only.  The goals are always the same, but just happen in different orders depending on the program.  Each of our AAU teams has its own customized tournament only or tournament+league schedule, based on their level of competition.

New IBA AAU Team Designations for the 2025 Season:

• First Team in each grade is designated as IBA-IBC.  Teams will have national, regional, local tournament schedules.

• Second Team in each grade is designated as IBA or IBA Bird.  Teams will have regional and local tournament schedules. 

• Third Team, etc is designated as IBA Prep.  Teams will have local tournament schedules + league play.
